A group of adventurous Australians is set to embark on an extraordinary journey, flying paramotors from the UK to Ukraine. This bold expedition aims to support two charities dedicated to aiding those affected by conflict. One charity focuses on transforming vans into ambulances, and the team plans to donate their support van for this cause. The other charity, Hell's Kitchen, provides meals for people struggling with food insecurity due to ongoing conflicts.
Departing from Lands End in the UK in early June, they will soar along the southern coast before making their way across the Channel into France. Their route will take them through France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and finally ending in Poland near the Ukrainian border. Covering a distance of 2500km over approximately 25 flights within 21 days.
This daring mission not only highlights human compassion but also showcases how adventure can be harnessed for humanitarian aid and awareness.
