Overview
The 4th Annual SkyVentures Paramotor Bear Lake Fly-In returns to the Caribbean of the Rockies, offering exceptional flying conditions for paramotors. Participants can enjoy morning flights, afternoon flights around the lake, and evening flying at the airport, along with daily competitions, events, and prizes.
Registration & Fees
- Registration fee: $80
- Includes a required wristband
- Access to the beach flying site from Wednesday through Saturday
- Use of all on-site amenities
- Vendor flight line spot: $50
- Available only to relevant paramotor vendors
- Guarantees space on the flight line for vendor displays
- Registration is available through the official event website.
Camping & Participant Information
Participants may indicate whether they will be staying in an RV, camping in a tent, or staying off-site. Aircraft information, participant signature, and emergency contact details are required during registration.
T-shirts are available by size, but shirts are no longer guaranteed after the stated ordering cutoff. Additional shirt sizes may be included in the registration comments.
Flight Safety & Airport Rules
This is an active airport, and other aircraft may use the runways with or without radio communication. Participants must:
- Follow all applicable FAA regulations, including FAR 103.
- Avoid impeding aircraft operations or flying in a manner that endangers people or property.
- Be courteous to other pilots during takeoffs and landings.
- Never fly over approach patterns or runways, whether or not they are in use.
- Avoid flying over congested areas, including homes along the shores and surrounding areas of Bear Lake.
- Follow all instructions from event organizers and airport officials.
A wildlife refuge is located south of the airport. Pilots must not fly below 1,000 feet, take off, land, or harass wildlife in that area. Participants should consult the 2026 NOTAM for the specific boundaries and requirements.
Beach & Recreation Area Guidelines
Flying from the North Beach State Park area and Epic Recreation is a privilege. Pilots must respect park guests and other visitors, avoid harassment or close approaches, and exercise extra caution on Saturday due to increased beach activity. Participants may be asked to leave if they do not follow these guidelines.
Important Safety Notice
Powered paragliding and powered parachuting are inherently dangerous activities that can result in serious injury or death. Participants are responsible for themselves, their equipment, and their actions. SkyVentures Paramotor, LLC, Bear Lake County Airport, North Beach State Park, and Epic Recreation are not responsible for injuries, damage, or losses caused during the event.
SkyVentures Paramotor, LLC reserves the right to remove any participant whose actions, flying, or equipment present an inherent danger to themselves or others.

SkyVentures Paramotor uses the airport and surrounding area regularly for business and training. Participants are asked to respect local residents, airport users, and guests by avoiding disturbances and helping present the sport positively.
