Overview
Set against the turquoise waters of Bear Lake—the Caribbean of the Rockies—the 4th Annual SkyVentures Paramotor Bear Lake Fly-In brings pilots together for unforgettable morning and afternoon lake flights and relaxed evening sessions at the airport. Expect daily competitions, fun events, and prizes, all in a welcoming community focused on safe, courteous flying. We can’t wait to see you there!
Registration & Pricing
- Pilot Registration: $65
- Includes pilot wristband, on-site camping, access to the beach flying site (Wednesday–Saturday), and access to bathrooms and dumpsters.
- Event T-shirt: Sizes requested during registration, but not guaranteed. Limited supply; once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Who Can Fly
- Primary focus: Paramotor (PPG)
- Other aircraft options (as indicated on the form): PPC, Fixed Wing, Other Ultralight, or N/A
Camping & Amenities
- Camping options: RV, tent, or staying offsite
- Amenities included with registration: On-site bathrooms and dumpsters
- Access to the beach flying site is included Wednesday–Saturday
Flying Plan

Safety & Airport Etiquette
- Follow all FAA regulations and Bear Lake County Airport Board rules.
- This is an active airport: other aircraft may use runways with or without radio communication.
- Do not impede aircraft operations on the ground or in the air.
- Do not overfly runways or approach paths, regardless of current use.
- Be courteous: clear launch/landing areas promptly to allow others to operate safely.
- Wildlife protection: A refuge lies directly south of the airport.
- Do not fly below 1000 ft AGL in that area.
- No touchdowns, takeoffs, or harassment of wildlife.
- Violations may result in fines—follow all posted NOTAMs and local regulations.
- North Beach State Park and Epic Recreation access is a privilege:
- Keep safe distances from the public and other park users.
- You may be asked to leave if rules aren’t followed.
- Be respectful of local residents and guests to help preserve access to this beautiful location.
Waivers & Liability
- Participation in powered paragliding or parachuting is inherently dangerous; serious injury or death can occur.
- SkyVentures Paramotor, LLC may remove any participant whose actions, flying, or equipment present danger.
- SkyVentures Paramotor, LLC, Bear Lake County Airport, Epic Recreation, and North Beach State Park are not responsible for injuries or damage to persons or property.
